TEAM COACHING
The team coaching model establishes clarity, confidence, and competency within teams. This in-depth process is aimed at building individual engagement, team effectiveness and achieving team goals.
Team Coaching Process
A team readiness assessment will be conducted with the team leader and include interviews with each member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Each interviewee will be asked the same questions and the coach will probe and gather data related to the current team dynamics and performance. Data will be accumulated and will remain anonymous. A report will be prepared and will be presented in the team building session.
This full-day session includes a strategy overview from the team leader, a summary of data from the assessment phase, review and sharing of trait profiles, and the development of a team charter and team working agreements. At this stage, the team outlines metrics which will be used to measure the success of the team coaching process.
We engage the team in two separate streams. First, each team member will be provided a 1-hour, one-on-one coaching session once a month for the duration of the project. Second, the coach attends regular team meetings over the span of the project to provide coaching to the team as a group.
Please note that the content of the discussions that occurs in the coaching sessions is strictly confidential between each coachee and the coach, and will not be discussed without the expressed authorization of the coachee.
The team wrap-up meeting reviews and documents progress against initial planning and goals. The team will identify processes, systems, and behaviours that have contributed to increasing team performance and effectiveness.
