The Story of Operative Coaching

I discovered executive coaching while searching for ways to boost my own development as a leader. Researching and studying coaching at Royal Roads University, I started to accelerate my development as a coach leader. I was not only achieving my own personal career goals, but I was helping others do the same.

I emerged as a leader with a “coach” mindset. It was during this time I realized that I had a unique approach to coaching. Not only did I have years of valuable executive leadership experience to draw from, but I had this ability to help others operationalize their plans and get results.

Over 25 years of executive leadership experience in both human resources and operations management. My experience spans over six main industry sectors: construction, telecom, manufacturing, airport management, technology commercialization, and insurance services. Over my career, I have been a strategic leader in four of the organizations I’ve worked for and have led a number of corporate mergers and acquisitions through both the due diligence and business integration processes.

Being an excellent father and a great husband is extremely important to me. My family is a firm foundation for me and where I want to be the most successful in life.

I’ve been an athlete my whole life; in fact, competitive environments and team sports have shaped many of my experiences and stories. It shapes how I approach executive coaching.
